Men like big fat steaks grilled. I suggest a ribeye, t-bone or porterhouse or a NY strip. You can serve it with some kind of potatoes and a green salad. Another veggie like asparagus or green beans are good too.
Ingredients
4 ounces soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1/2 cup Jack Daniel's
2 tablespoons white wine
1 pound chicken leg or thigh meat cut in bite size pieces
Method
Mix the first six ingredients [the marinade] together and pour over chicken pieces in a medium bowl.
Cover and refrigerate, stirring often, 6 to 8 hours or overnight [preferred].
Bake chicken at 350 for one hour in a single layer, basting every 10 minutes. Remove chicken. Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits intoa frying pan. Heat, and add 2 Tbs. white wine. Stir and add chicken.
Cook for 1 minute and serve.
