What Should Family Guy Spoof Next?

Since FG is currently in the process of finishing their Star Wars trilogy spoof I wonder what you guys think they should do next. Indiana Jones? Back to the Future? The Star Wars Prequels?

It should spoof its own current lack of relevance except as a vehicle to regurgitate lame pop culture references.

Or maybe Harry Potter?:)

Actually, when it does spoof itself, I think it's at it's funniest. 'Joe's Walking On Air' had a lot of those moments and made it my favorite post-season 3 episode.

I'd like to see more poking fun at itself instead of just certain characters over and over.

There have been maybe one or two "Indiana Jones" references and one "Back to the Future" reference, but nothing presented as a special. Other movies that I would like to see "Family Guy" parody are: (think of your idealistic casts)

"The Wizard of Oz"
"Alice in Wonderland"
"The Matrix"
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
"Ghost Busters"
"The Addams Family" or "The Munsters" (they have done "Brady Bunch" references)
"Titanic" (the original story, not the corny Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet version)
(Several horror movies - "Night of the Living Dead", "Halloween", "Friday the 13th" (wait, they have done references, never mind), "a Nightmare on Elm Street", "Dracula", "Frankenstein", "Child's Play", "Christine", "the Fly", "the Blob", "the Exorcist", etc. mostly the popular and well-likable ones)

Possible T.V. show parodies:

"Spongebob Squarepants"
"Silly Symphonies" or "Looney Tunes"

Possible video game parodies:

"The Legend of Zelda"
"Super Mario Bros."
"Mega Man"

There are probably many more, but I will think of more later, enjoy.

I think we're overdue for a Calvin and Hobbes cutaway, since that fits in with the 80's motif and FG has referenced almost every other newspaper comic in one way or another.

Or, Macfarlane could take the 80's thing farther and to Opus/Bloom County.

No more full episode parodies and a large drop in pop culture cutaways, please. I'm sorry, it's cheap humour that a stoned frat boy could write...oh, wait a second..

I miss when they were actually clever with such jokes.

Have they made fun of Rod Blagojevich yet? Obviously that wouldn't be a whole episode thing. But I think it could definitely be great as one of their little cut-away scenes, like when Quagmire was supposed to be Clinton.

Full episode parodies? The only one's they've done so far are those Star Wars episodes, and only one has actually aired.

Considering that stuff is the backbone of the show right now I can't see them toning it down any time soon.

Considering only a handful of the fan cutaways in that huge "Homemade Family Guy Cutaways" thread from a while back were even close to being clever or funny I'd say writing for Family Guy is harder than most people think it is.

I think the problem with Family Guy is that it's moved so far out of the comfort zone of the casual Toon Zone member and has become so mainstream and sure of it's success that most people here have just turned away from it because it no longer meets their expectations of what a decent cartoon should be.

Most people don't look at and analyze this show and it's history the way people here do. I wouldn't say any of my friends are major cartoon fans in any way, shape or form. But they love Family Guy because it gives them a cheap, easy and temporary laugh. I find most members here have higher expectations than that, which leads to disappointment when the show can't offer more than pop culture cutaways.
