the dealer lot? I went to a Dodge dealer in Southern California. They had several Sprinter Van 2500 models. All were 2008 models with high tops. I asked to see the cheapest one. It was the short wheel base with no glass (which is what I wanted). It had some extra optional stuff like a cab partition (which I don't want). The dealer offered $10,000 off. But this was from the 2008 MSRP of $41k. LOL. This Sprinter Van is almost two years old now. Edmunds says the true market value is $28,000 regardless of it being "new" with no mileage. Even worse the dealer offered only $1000 trade in on my camper van! And they didnt want to get into the "cash-for-clunkers" issue. Saying it was all on me to do that. I even offered all cash. But couldn't get them to the $24-25k I'd like to pay...
