what shade of blonde would suit me?

my natural hair colour is a dark brown that has a dark reddish hint to it in some lights, but its basically a fairly normal dark brown. my hair is very thick and i have never dyed my hair before.
i have very pale skin that is a bit pinky rather than totally white.
i have greyish green/blue eyes.

i am thinking about going blonde and will obviously go to a salon but i was wondering what sort of blonde they would recommend? thanks :)
