What Sex are my Budgies ?

ok I have 2 budgies one is a light blue with a pink/light purple cere. The second one is normal color (green/yellow) with a dark purple cere. will someone plzz help i dont know the age the lady i get them from said the blue one is a male.
 
If you can get a male and female to mate then you can farm baby birds and when they get bigger you can spank them when they are bad and yell at them.
