What salary would you consider a joke! (UK please)?

What salary would you consider terrible? For example not enough to pay the bills, pay your mortgage, bills etc.

I currently earn £15,000 working full time in IT. However as I only have A-Levels and GCSE's I can only blame myself. I'm moving to London next year to study and work in the finance industry.

Just wondering what would you consider as a terrible salary and is anyone brave enough to disclose theirs, thanks
 
minimum wage is a joke.
there are many people who make a lucrative career out of scamming the government for benefits and leeching off us that work. I wouldnt reccomend this as it brings the reputation of a bad smell.
 
I only have qualifications up to City and Guilds which I think is close to A levels now. Many years in the same job in a factory in Quality Control.
£40,000+ last year over £50,000 in the past.
