I have a SONY CDX-GT07 AM/FM CD tuner and I would like to install it in a 1980 Chevy Van. I have all the wires on the unit itself and their jobs figured out, except for the blue "antenna remote" wire. What job does it do, and it is necessary for the unit to function properly? I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to run all the wires myself, there's nothing electronic in the van except for the gauge lights. I highly doubt there is a wire just for an "antenna remote" in there. If I have to use the wire, what other stuff would I need to make it work properly? I hope these questions come across clearly. I tried several searches online, and only seemed to get sales ads for stereos, speakers and amps, so I figured somebody real could help answer my question better and faster. Thanks in advanced for your help!!!
