I have to do a constellation project for school, and for part of it we have to find "road map" stars closest to our chosen constellation. My science teacher calls them Road Map stars, but he really means the stars like the North Star :P He gave us a chart but it is very confusing. He said we cant go to him for help, so im out of luck with asking him :( This is what the chart says:

Winter Sky___________ Spring Sky_______Summer Sky ______Autumn Sky
Facing North - Polaris__ North - Polaris_____North - Polaris_____ North - Polaris
Facing South - Rigel___ South - Regulus___South - Vega ______South - Atlas

It confuses me, I was just wondering if anyone can help me out with this. My constellation is Orion. Oh, and my main question is what Road map star is closest to Orion, and what should i put from my chart?

Thanks! :)
