I currently have a 500w mono amp powering a pair of 10" subs and new front and rear speakers and head unit all installed in my car recently. It sounds great, it goes as loud as I will ever want to listen to it. I was told however that I would benefit from a separate amp for my speakers as well? I wanted to know what it actually does. Does it make them sound clearer or just louder? I think they sound pretty good right now, is it even something I would notice? I have no no need for them to be louder so is there any point?
What result will I get from adding a 4-channel amp to my car?
