What reform of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney turned out to be a financial

disaster? Unlike community organizer Barack Obama, Mr. Mitt Romney knew how to count the money. He used to be in charge of huge business companies - very successfully profit-wise. He also managed to turn 002 Winter Olympics form $350 million loss to $100 million profit.

Yet despite all this impressive record, there was a particular field of government reform where he miserably failed.

The original cost estimate of that particular reform for last year was $472 million; final spending came in at $628 million. Spending this year is at least $75 million over initial budget, while projections for next year range as high as $880 million -- and even those are probably too low.

healthcare, it was supposed to save 5% the first year but ended up costing millions more than expected. 10-12% increase with no decrease in sight.

Mitt Romney's health care reform was a disaster. He forced people to buy health care without giving them an affordible government option, thus leting the companies make enormous profits off the burden of the average joe, in usual Republican fashion.

Luckily, Obama's plan does not follow Mitt's, so it has a chance to work. I don;t see the point you are trying to make here: that Mitt Romney is an idiot? I hope you aren;t trying to compare 2 different typse of healthcare reform, as if they are the same. That would be very deceptful.

He's not in office anymore. And the Democrats running the show keep expanding his program

He provided Health care to everyone in Mass.

Everyone

Kevin, that was the talking point from the campaign. that's over, we can speak truthfully now. He didn't force anyone to do anything, and if he forced, what is Obama doing. The hypocrisy is stagering.

And Obamas plan only covers 16 of the 46 million uninsured. Nice plan.
