What planet do you live on if you think 15% is an acceptable tip?

I have worked in the restaurant biz for a few years now and I have NEVER heard of 15% being an acceptable tip ANYWHERE. At least not in the past few years. Stop being so cheap! If your server or bartender did a good job, leave the standard 20%. And if they did an awesome job, leave a few extra bucks. We work our asses off to insure you have a pleasant dining experience.
 
i might leave a good tip if you waiters and waitresses would treat teenagers like normal people. i always get treated with sub-par service when me and my buddies go to a restaurant compared to when i go with my parents. its like they assume im not going to leave a tip anyways because teenagers dont have any money. i work 30+ hours a week after school and weekends just so i have money to do that kind of stuff. at least thats the way it is in the places i go. anyways im a really good tipper when the service stands out in a positive way.
