What phone should I get?

Ok. SO Im going to go on my parents family plan, the whole add a line thing. And was wondering what phone to get?? Im paying for the phone, and my dad is paying the bills and the 2yr activation. So which phone?
p.s. I love to text and only talk alittle one the phone.
