Well I plan to go with a T-Mobile To Go Gold Rewards plan. (Just don't use enough minutes to waste my time with a contract.)
I'm currently using Virgin Mobile. Until my Switch Back just stopped working, and after dealing with Customer Service. And then with there Rates. I'm just not impressed.
Okay,
I'll probably be going with a unlocked phone. (Not impressed with T-Mobile To-Go's Phone selection.
I'll set my phone Budget to $300 bucks.
A Refurbished phone is fine with me.
I have looked at hundreds of phones, and Reviews, Enough to drive you crazy. Came to the point were I looked at so many reviews. I started forgetting them and had to go back and look again.
Most important for me are:
Reception.
Voice Clarity.
Phone Volume. (Don't have the easiest time hearing through phones.)
Things I would like, but not important:
Camera. (I hardly use it so great pictures aren't required.)
Email Access.
Internet Access. (Again, nice. But I hardly use it.)
Phone usage will be mostly:
Important Phone Calls. (Again, need to clearly understand what people are saying, I find clients to get irritated when you ask them to repeat them selfs.)
And Text messaging. (A full keyboard qwerty keyboard would is nice, but most are too small for my thumbs anyway.)
Phones type:
Not really important.
But looking at many reviews I've found that very few flip phones perform as well as some of the Sliders, and Candy bars in the same class. (I do find this odd.)
Sort of fond of the Sliders though.
Phones I've been thinking about.
Samsung D900 (Heard good reviews, but also heard that it doesn't get great reception.)
Samsung D600 (Mixed reviews.)
Samsung D500 (Can't find much on it)
Nokia 6820 (Heard good things about voice quality)
Nokia 6810 (Mixed reviews.)
Nokia 7260
Nokia 7210 (Both sound good, but have hard to process reviews.)
Also heard about problems with the odd Button designs.
Nokia 6682 (Again, the reviews just seem to beat around the bush...)
Sony Ericsson W810i (Heard of static problems)
Sony Ericsson W550i
Sony Ericsson W600 (Having trouble finding any reviews on both)
Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 (Haven't heard no sure thing on this one, sounds good for the price though.)
Blackberry 7105t (Find these reviews a little odd. 7105t sounds good, but the 7100t sounds terrible... what's the difference here?)
As you can tell, I'm pretty much open to anything.
I just want a phone with good call quality. and I just wish reviewers wouldn't beat around the bush. It's like there scared to bash a phone.
"Heard static most of the time, but overall call quality was good"
Anyways I hope one of you can set me strait before I go insane...
Oh and I'm located in Northern Utah, if that makes a difference.
Thanks.
