I can't remember the title of the show, but I used to watch this show about physics on PBS in the mornings when I used to stay home from school if I was sick.

Some of the elements about the show that I can recall include:
* It aired at least during the late 80's and early 90's
* It was a fairly easy going and slow paced show
* It had sort of an likewise easy synthesized soundtrack, as well as sound effects
* The show was designed using computers and computer graphics. Not necessarily 3D-CGI, but like it was drawn and edited on an old Amiga or something
* Was narrated yet had no on-screen personalities, and
si* It discussed science--specifically physics and molecules.

I recall there were also "molecule" people, like there were people at a party with "molecule heads", as a means to explain physics and such.

Does this description ring any bells? I would really appreciate any hints pointing me in the right direction!
Oh and it wasn't animated, it was just still frames drawn on a computer that used various fades and cuts to go from one frame to the next.
