What path could I take for the Big 3?

With the big 3, could i just run a wire straight from the alternator to a fuse then to the positive terminal of the battery? the reason i'm asking is b/c i tried to follow the stock wire but it went to a huge mass of wires and i couldn't find it, nor could i get the big mass apart. Thanks
 
It doesn't matter where the wires go as long as they are wired to the right part. As long as it is wired from the alternator to the battery it is fine.

Get a razor knife and open up the harness,remove old tape,pull out old wire from battery to alternator...Replace with #4 or larger wire inside factory harness,tape it back up.
