...universal salvation? I read somewhere that the doctrine of universal salvation known as Apokatastasis is promoted in the new Catechism of the Catholic Church, it was maintained by the Second Vatican Council and by Blessed John Paul II.

If the doctrine of universal salvation is promoted in the Catholic Church, then my own beliefs are inline with the Catholic Church, I believe that one can be worthy of God's forgiveness, love, mercy and salvation, if one follows their conscience, being compassionate and kind, having a sense of ethics, justice and morality, doing acts of kindness without boasting about them, do acts of kindness, not because you expect a reward, but because it is the right thing to do, being humble and being the best person you can be, in whichever faith you belong in, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc, or whether or not you believe in God, be the best person you can be, then I strongly believe you can be worthy of God's mercy, just because a person thinks and believes differently or wasn't born and raised in a Christian household or rejects the Christian faith due to love and devotion to his or her own faith or doesn't believe in God at all, then that person is undeserving of God's mercy?

I believe those who chooses to ignore their conscience and chooses to become corrupt, cruel, evil, guiltless, inhuman, merciless, remorseless and wicked individuals, are undeserving of God's mercy, only when they repent from their evil and wicked ways and begin to follow their conscience, then I strongly believe they can be worthy of God's mercy.

The supposed "new doctrine" is just that--THE ERRONEOUS CCC has no support in the Patristic Fathers or in the Apostolic writings which are publicly known in the Acta Apostolis Sedis. UNIVERSALISM IS A HERESY never taught by the Church. Christ taught and still holds to His EXCLUSIVE CHURCH, held only by those who hold His DOCTRINE.

260 Popes held to Exclusive Doctrine in an Indefectible Church. Only 5 popes deny it. Who is right? You don't have a choice. The Apostles were right. The new weasel words of "ecumenism" cause an entire Church to Apostatize and thus to lose their souls.

The Truth is that Christ established His Church of Sacramental Salvation with His Doctrine taught by the Apostles, and they wrote it down without using the mealy weasel words of newbie members born yesterday. Every pope of historic validity prior to Vatican 2 preached Christ's Word regarding His Doctrine in His infallible Church, "OUTSIDE OF WHICH THERE IS NO SALVATION."

That makes Christ's Church a chameleon and defectible. Tomorrow it will "change again." for the Newbie Order.

1,958 years of believers lived and died for what Christ preached, His DOCTRINE, not for weasel words. You may not like it, but you will have to answer to Him about disobedience, denial & Apostasy. His Faithful Militant Catholics can only warn you.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life

Romans 10:9
if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Romans 4:2
if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3For what does the Scripture say?“Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” 4Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. 5And to the one who does not work but trusts him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness

You cannot work for your Salvation by doing: "being compassionate and kind, having a sense of ethics, justice and morality, doing acts of kindness without boasting about them, do acts of kindness, not because you expect a reward, but because it is the right thing to do, being humble and being the best person you can be, in whichever faith you belong in".

Salvation is received by Faith not by works and only Faith in Jesus is how one receives Salvation. What you are teaching is not from God but instead is from the pit of hell. You are doing the works of Satan by denying that Jesus is our source of Salvation only.
