What parts of the body does the stationary bike help with?

I've retired my stationary bike to the farest corner in my basement---I did not lose weight with it and it can be pretty hard on your legs. You'd have to ride that bike for 3 hours or so to effectively lose weight. It does help with your heart though, and as my doctor told me, it also does help when you got diabetes---but so do other exercises and I think something like swimming and walking is much more fun.....
 
Bike riding is a good exercise for THE ENTIRE BODY. It is great for the cardio-vascular system. It helps if you eat right.Sucking on a diet coke while riding will delete any good that you are getting.
