degradation, etc? I like the part that it is wasteful. It is geared towards satisfying the demand of the wealthy and middle class as they have more purchasing power, but it does not provide the potential to end world hunger because if people have no purchasing power according to capitalist economics they dont demand anything! And stupid Americans are sooooooooooooooooo satisified with living a pathetic life is this WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! consumerist society isnt that right? They need all these new gadgets so they hire people and provide capital to create these gadgets that they spend a lot of time advertising but they dont think of combating the global problems we have. If it were to eliminate a problem, it would not be profitable. When they make a product are they thinking how will this help humanity 50 years from now? No they arent and neither are there are compeitors. Under capitalism, its good to have problems because then you can market ways to solve them temporarly, something that requires you to constantly spend more money, rather than think of a way in which we would no longer need to worry about that problem. If there were a more a efficient way of getting something done but it would not create long etrm profits for them, they wont consider it. That's why they're not thinking about sustainability when they create a product. Like the irragation in some places is very poor, but there is the potential for better, and we throw away tons of food, so there is no problem feeding the world. We just have to devote more land to food production for 3rd world countries. We always devote our resources to making new shit when people are dying because they dont have food, yet apperarently we're allocating resources optimally! This is just soooooooo pathetic. What is wrong with you people?

USEFUL????? producing junk for stupid middle class americans is not USEFUL but they produce it because we're so pathetic and we need stuff to satisfy our stupid lives BUT we dont produce things that provide a useful allocation of resources towards benefiting the majority

I like the part that means if you are smart enough you can create a successful business and make lots of money and if you don't create a good business someone else will (competition) and I don't have to rely on the government to make a monopoly that tends to fail and drive prices up.
 
the only way we can stop world hunger, is if the hungry people develop a sort of economy to provide for themselves. otherwise, if we give it to them a dependency is created and they rely more on us. Social democracy is a good idea, but requires first a large and wealthy economy, found in industrial nations. It can't exist in 3rd world countries. The U.S. and the EU have the largest economies in the world, and socialist countries are way down on the list.

the way to end much of the world's poverty and to promote stability is for various countries to adopt a means of production. this needs to come from the people as the 3rd world governments are incapable of it. therefore, democratization of production is required, which I believe is capitalism.
 
I like the fact it allows people to control their own life financially.
Gives them freedom to get what they want and have the options to choose what fit their needs. It also gives money to those who work hard enough. And doesn't for those who don't.

I however, don't like corporatism. Where businesses treat the little guy unfairly and keep thieving their paychecks and benefits.

That good enough?

From what you described it seems capitalism has worked for America... maybe some of those other 3rd world countries should take a lesson and follow suit.
 
I love capitalism and the free enterprise.

The only things that I think are the flaws is that capitalism needs to be regulated such that bullies can't beat up on the weak, and participants need to be operationg under sustainable business models (i.e., cutting all the rainforests down in Brazil isn't sustaintable forever).
 
The sucky thing about world hunger is that you can never end it. Once you produce enough food to feed everyone, everyone has more babies, thereby out-pacing your food production within a generation.

The part where the criminals were supposed to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Sadly, due to major corruption in government, they were not and now Capitalism is being blamed.

So the poor got rich from capitalism and now the super rich will get even richer with socialism or worse as they create monopolies and a secure seat in a new global society.

Everyone else no longer stands a chance at wealth. They do get thrown a few bones though like the most basic health care. Don't worry, you will also get used to the many laws that will literally wear you down. If you don't , your children will because they will be born into accepting it.
 
WELL seeing as though you're asking ... I really really like the corporate greed thing and the super bonuses given out to the ceos.... and how that when the go ar$e over t!t ... and they get bailed out ... in an attempt to save jobs and from preventing them going bust .. People start jumping up and down about Government take-overs... well knock me down with a feather ... if the greedy hadn't of been SO BLOODY greedy.. the situation would not have occured in the first place...

I mean I know if you pay Peanuts you get Monkeys.. BUT surely by now people MUST know that if you Pay in an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET .. all you get are greedy fat pigs.
