what outdoor game could i play that is like paintball or laser tag, but...

...cheaper and less impact? looking for a game that involves running, chasing, shooting but that doesn't involve the bruising and 'painting' trees, walls etc of paintball, less equipment than laser tag. and isn't squirt guns/water reliant? looking for a game for 17-24 age crowd
 
you could try getting those machine gun toy dart blaster things, they're real cheap
