What other genres are as good as rap?

I like jazz classical jazz of course.soul music from old school to new school.What music genres do you find disturbing?I find metal and screamo and pop like Lady gaga and justin beaver or whateva his name is weird and is just screaming.Black people did not invent metal or rock that sounds like screaming but maybe the roots of rock and roll!
 
My first love is alternative hip-hop, but I love The Clash (punk rock), electronic (The Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Massive Attack, etc.), and bossa nova (Brazilian jazz). Classic rock and grunge aren't too bad either.
 
Only metal/hard rock bands scream
the rest of em have singers
Or a 80/20 mix

Classical music. It inspires millions.

Lady Gaga actually outdoes some of the talentless mainstream rappers hanging around today. Don't get me wrong though, I totally respect rap as a genre.
