What order does higher education go in?

I'm pretty sure I want to become a clinical psychologist. (Im 15)
I need a ph.D for this..
Im unsure of the way i get this.
Does it go:
gcses.. 3 a levels.. degree.. then ph.d?
or have i got it completely wrong lol
