i have the electronic shift trans{ it went bad }, can i put an 88 or 89 sr400 automatic in to replace it? i know i'll have to have the driveline extended, and a compression shift switch put in. it is a 5.7 engine on the 1995 GMC2500 truck. also, is it a good replacement, trans ?{sr400} ?
what older automatic transmission, will replace my 1995 chevy 4L80E transmission ?
