What old Video Game series should have a new TV series ?

Yeah, you really should explain the reasons for your choices, or else this will get locked for being a list thread.

Anyway, didn't you (or someone else) already create this topic?

He's not required to. It's the OP's individual choices: if he doesn't want to see a new Pac-Man show, then he doesn't have to choose it.

I think there may be some confusion regarding the topic of this thread. I think the OP is asking which video game series (read: franchises) should get TV shows, not which old cartoons based on video games should be remade. Castelvania, Streets of Rage and Crash Bandicoot never had TV shows either.

Idly, most of today's video games are so elaborate with their cinemas and whatnot that one has to wonder if many of them even need TV spinoffs, especially the ones which have several entries in a series of games.

I wouldn't mind seeing Earthworm Jim get new episodes. I mean, as long as they don't try and add any new characters no one cares about and keeps the original voice cast, it could be really cool.

And a Spyro series might've been a good idea back with "Year of the Dragon", but Spyro's turn into such an annoying "Character wit' at-tit-tuuudeee" that I can't imagine wanting to watch that type of Spyro in a cartoon.

Same with Sonic. Sonic seems almost egotisitcal with his running ability now-a-days. "UR 2 SLOW!!1!" Yeah, sorry for not being able to run faster than the speed of light, Sonic. >:C

I think that Captain N needs to come back with a few changes...

Samus Aran officially joins the N Team (voiced by Caren Manuel)
Sonic officially joins (voiced by Jaleel White)
Mega Man gets a radical makeover similar to that of Mega Man X (my choice would be Richard Ian Cox for the role of Mega Man)
Solid Snake joins the N Team (voiced by Dan Green)
Final Fight's Guy makes the cut (voiced by Kirby Morrow)
Simon Belmont returns with a stronger whip (and a more tough guy attitude!)

and...

Kevin is now an adult, stronger and wiser than ever, and probably married to Princess Lana after staying in the game world too long.

A new Mario cartoon would be nice. But Harvey Atkin would have to play Koopa because, let's face it, he IS the voice of Koopa. I really wish they'd get him to do the voice for Bowser in the Mario games because no one has come close the sheer awesomeness that is Harvey Atkin.

I'd say new Mario but they did Mario alright in the 80s. What we need is a new Zelda cartoon. The franchise is huge and the number of stories to tell is numerous... and the 80s toon definently didn't do the franchise justice (though it was memorable for a few things). With the Zelda manga finally coming stateside the iron is hot for a new Zelda animated series.
