what oil would should I use for a 01 cadillac sts?

No, Jiffy Lube or any other quicky lube place is a big mistake. They usually use very cheap quality oil filters and the employees there have little training. Take it to a reputable shop or the dealer for an oil change, but avoid wal-mart, jiffy lube.
As to what type of oil, just make sure that they use a quality oul the meets API standards. As to the weight of oil, consult the diagram in your owners manual for the preffered oil weight for your climate.
 
it should clearly say right on the cover tap.. where you put your oil in.. located under the hood.. right next to engine..

i say.. go to autozone and ask... get in the motha ***king ZONE!!
