I have a 40 gallon tank, and I want to add at least 1 more fish to it. There are already some fish in the tank but most of them hide all day long and I never see them.
I have 2 5 inch frontosa's, 1 6-7 inch lima shovelnose catfish, and 2 rope fish.
The 2 Frontosa's hide all day long inside a cave. They are NEVER out. The rope fish hide all day long too. The only fish that is out is the catfish.
I just want 1-2 more BRIGHT coloured fish, as all the fish in the tank are dull colours (black & white, brown..).
I know the fish I've got in there right now get big but I've got a bigger tank to move them into when they get big(150 gallons).
What bright coloured fish could I add to the tank that would get along with the fish I've got now? I'd prefer it to be a smaller fish but not small enough that my catfish or frontosa's will eat it.
Thanks. I had an electric yellow cichlid before but it died. I didn't really like it anyways.
I have another tank with 2 oscar's. I don't want any more of them.
Stingray's need a lot of room in the bottom of tanks as that's where they spend their time. You really need a custom tank that is short and very very wide to keep a stingray. Thanks anyways though.
