i tend to avoid the forums there as they are full of right headcases that trash every single movie. for any new release you can pretty much bet on a "worst movie ever" thread appearing for it.

Another vote for IMDB. I usually use it to find out information & names of actors/actresses in my favourite films. Very reliable

IMDB is the movie-goer's bible, and for anyone wanting to find out about movies and TV, the fisrt (and normally) the only place to go.

I checked out metacritic and it only sdeems to have movies on recent release - no use for those of us trying to find out if an older movie on TV is worth watching.
