Have you had the misfortune of someone spoiling the ending or revealing a twist to a movie that you haven't seen yet or a movie you really wanted to see.

If so did you still go ahead & see the movie or was the spoiler that bad you thought what's the point?.

If you just mention the movie or movies that have been spoilt for you.If you want to go into more detail then please use the Spoiler Tag.So you don't ruin it for anyone else that hasn't seen the movie or movies.

One movie that springs to mind & because of this spoiler i have never watched it.A friend of mine revealed the twist in "The Sixth Sense" for me.He had saw it at the cinema & a couple of days later he was talking about the movie & just came out with it & because of that i think well what's the point of watching it.Even though i hear it's a good movie because i know in advance the twist in the story i don't think i could enjoy it as much.

The movie "Others" was another one that was spoilt for me so i never really bothered with that either.

I also had part of Batman Begins ruined for me

i happened to ask a guy in the work if he enjoyed the movie & i asked him if there was a baddie in it called Scarecrow?.Not only did he tell me there was but he told me Liam Neeson's character was also a baddie.Where up to that point i thought he just played a good guy in the movie. So when he was revealed as a baddie i wasn't surprised

Halfway through Sixth Sense at the cinema my supposed friend elbowed me in the ribs and gave away the twist which I didn't even know existed!
Some things are unforgiveable.

I have spoken to several people about this subject & it's amazing how many people had The Sixth Sense spoiled for them.

There must have been a Sixth Sense spoiler gang going about

Ahhh same here

Sixth Sense was spoilt for me. I wish it hadnt been cos it took quite a few viewings of the film before I liked it.

Bad luck on the Batman Begins though!

I was on holiday in Canada and the Sixth Sense was being shown on ppv on our hotel tv - we must of been only a few minutes in when I said to my husband I bet Bruce Willis's character is actually dead - he laughed but of course I was proved right - I seem to be able to spot the twists and long way off with most films

along came a spider was spoiled by me. i saw the ending coming a mile off. the second star wars was ruined when i was waiting to buy it on video (as i was not born when it came out in the cinema) and some prat said 'that is such a good film, i can't belive vader is lukes father.'!!! i could of killed him.

Sixth Sense for me too. I still watched it, and I still liked it, but it would have been great if I didn't already know :(

Does it count that someone ruined the end of series 3 of 24 for me, by posting a spolier on a completely unrelated discussion?

Yes I did as well! I was watching The 11 O'Clock show & Daisy Donovon or whoever said the twist, & I was so annoyed.

Also someone told me the HUGE twist for The Usual Suspects, which sucked, but I still really loved watching that movie regardless.

By the way, I saw a video on the web yesterday of some chap driving up to a line of people in the US queing up outside a book shop for the new Harry Potter, & yelling out what happens in the end. It was so cruel, but funny in a way, because people got so angry with him & he just didn't care.

I don't read HP but I can imagine how upsetting it would be. I'll post the link if anyone wants to watch it

My uncle came out of Titanic adnw as saying 'i can't belive i paid for that crap. It's just about a ship sinking'
and a women in a queue had a go at him for ruining the end of the movie??

I had Sixth Sense ruined for me, too. I was travelling with a group of people, and we'd been on a coach all day, arriving quite late at our hotel. We were hungry, and the hotel restaurant was closed, but the nice hotel man said he would bring us sandwiches and drinks in the TV room. So we turned the TV on, and Sixth Sense was just starting. The annoying member of the group (there's always one, and she excelled herself on this one), said "Ooo, Sixth Sense, it's a good job we've all seen this, otherwise we'd be really surprised when we find out that...". Needless to say, she was the only one of our group who had actually seen the film. Sandwiches and beers were consumed in an icy silence. ;) :D

Interview with the Vampire - I was told that Claudia is killed after the vampires find out she attempted murder on Lestat - but I kinda had a feeling she would die anyway.

The ending of Batman Begins was completely runied by these very forums

Some idiot mentioned that the Joker would be in the next film. They said that this was revealed at the end of Batman Begins!!

Thanks very much

Also, asked a mate about his thoughts on Collateral which I planned on seeing at the cinema.

Idiot told me that it was good and he felt a "bit sorry for Tom Cruise when he DIED AT THE END"!!!

Why thank you!

i spoil movies for myself while in the damn cinema.

i don't know why but i always know what is going to happen no matter what, it never happens while i watch movies on the PC, DVD, TV etc.

Only at the Damn Cinema :(

i had american History X spolit for me as well as Arlington Road( but that was my fault)

Nothing too bad though

Remember Simpsons when Homer and Marge come out of Empire Strikes Back and is walking past the queue and says , ' who would have thoguht that Darth Vadar was Luke Skywalkers father'.

Now thats a spolier. If I heard that I would have went home probably

I cant remember a movie that was spoiled for me, i watched the sixth sense and secret window and worked them all out by myself.

By the way if you liked the sixth sense and havent seen Secret Window you should give it a go, its quite good.
