Im interested in buying my first motorcycle within the next year. I want a sports bike and so far i have heard many good things about the kawasaki ninja. However, some have recommended the 250 while others the 500. I want this bike as my 2nd transportation and i plan on eventually (not right away of course) drive it on the freeway. I would also like the option of having a passenger on occasion.
Based on these things i figure a 500 is better isnt it? It has more power for the highway, can ride better with more weight as opposed to the 250. And its heavier so i wont have to worry about the wind as much while on the highway (i hear this is a big issue with lighter bikes)
Of course im a beginner and know very little about motorcycles so as far as i know, nothing i just stated is true. So if anyone would like to shed some light on these topics, i would greatly appreciate it.
(p.s. im looking to get a used one and my budget is somewhere around $2000-$2500. Do you think ill find either bike within this price range)
