It calls for 5w30. I was thinking of going with mobil 1.

I live in Alaska and Mobil 1 is the king of oils here. I use it in all my engines from my truck to the cars to the lawn tractor and pressure washer. Use the 5-w-30 your engine calls for and you can't go wrong. During the coldest time you can use 0w30 for those -20f or below periods in the dead of winter if you wish.
