it would be a MK6 escort, if it is the zetec engine, then all the ht leads for the escort zetec range are the same. I would recommend replacing the spark plugs aswell if this hasnt been done already.
im guessing you have a missfire, this usually happens on No3 or No4 cylinder, its common with the first breed of zetec engines.
before you fit your new leads, put some Vaseline in side the lead, where it pushes onto the sparkplug, this will help to keep the moisture out.
