What mercury sign tends to speaks vaguely or is never straight up?

I am a Cancer Mercury and I never give a honest answer, I always keep people guessing because some people are just upfront and blunt and I'm not like that and they get pissed off because I can't just tell them.
For example a simple question:
What's your name?
I'd answer, it depends
How old are you?
Old enough
What's your favorite color
Whatever your favorite color is

Etc...it pisses people off, help me. Could it be my Mercury sign? I really can't help it
Or when my friends ask:
Am I fat?
I say: I'm fat, when I'm not

Do I look ugly today?
I say: SHE looks ugly than I point at some ugly girl even though my friend does look out of place.

Or when they ask:
What are you doing tomorrow?
I say, Something with you/Whatever you're doing to tomorrow hopefully

Sometimes I speak really Bluntly and sometimes I speak like you. It all depends on my mood.

That's okay, people are going to have to deal with what you are. Plus, it sends you as a mysterious chick to guys. And I think that they like that : )

However though, don't be afraid. Speak out. If someone asks for your opinion, they want what you think. It's okay to say so.
 
In your case, Capricorn in 3rd house communication is where you can see the reserve and the vagueness with Neptune in 3rd. Mercury, by natural house rulership, rules the 3rd and what you are asking is due to your sign placement on the 3rd.

Your Mercury just shows how you express what your 3rd house states.
 
Could it be that quincunx to saturn? Maybe work more with the quintile to Jupiter.
 
Yes, I think a Cancer mercury will be like that, or a Pisces, Taurus, and Virgo Mercury.

Air and Fire are blunt and upfront.
