What mark did you get in your first semester of university ?

I am just a bit worried that my mark is bad, considering many health science professionals schools look for a gpa of 3.5 + (out of 4). And my gpa was low 3s, around 3.2. And I heard it gets harder as you go along -_-. Like second semester is worst.

So ya I was wondering how u did in your first semester, and if you can mention your program and university that could be helpful.
 
I'm a business economics major at UCLA. The major is pretty competative and I received a 3.6 my first semester, but I REALLY worked hard, especially on my calculus final (20 hours of studying for an A on the final to bring my grade to a B in the class). I don't think it will get worse, but if you put yourself in that mindset it will be harder. I've heard college is just like high school. First year is kinda new, you feel things out and really try hard. 2nd year is dull, 3rd is difficult especially for those who plan on going on to grad school (like you). and then senior year is all about keeping grades up and applying to grad schools/jobs.
