What Makes the Chevrolet Malibu so much better then the Pontiac G6?

If you ask me, the Pontiac G8 is a far better built car than either the Malibu or the G6. The G8 has far finer tolerances and better panel fit, and the interior is built with better quality materials.

It also has the 3.6L V6, and because the car was built and tested in Australia, is far tougher than both the Malibu or the G6.
 
That is the only difference. It's not better it's just their perception that pontiac sucks.. or w/e. It could be the styling some people like better i guess. mechanically speaking, the cars are like twins.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 and I wondering why people say the chevrolet malibu is so much better. They are both based on GM's Epsilon platform, the both have the same 2.4 L four cylinder and 3.6 L V6 engines (well Pontiac adds an optional 3.5 and 3.9), the front/back seats look the same the steering wheel looks the same...the only difference I notice is the dash board and exterior design.
