fear of something unlike yourself. Its a self defense mechanism, I think every one is racist to some degree.

white people are just racist because of ignorance

they'll calim they don't hate the skin color, and that it's just about the attitude. meanwhile, most have never had any black friends -- hell most never see blacks outside of television/media.

it's like the ole joke. what do you call a black doctor?

Uneducated and trying to draw a distinction between them and the "white" man. Interestingly enough, they have been in the country longer than my family

suppressed anger from knowing that they look like ron jeremy without the equipment.

What I hate now is how, when I see a black or asian, I feel like I'm supposed to be unnaturally nice to them so they won't think I'm racist, because all I hear everywhere is claims of racism (media mostly) against whites, but I realize that wanting to treat someone differently *because* of their race, even in a good way, is worse than the way I originally felt, which was indifferent.

That's it.
So if I hated a fellow rugby player in highschool who was white its good.
If I hated a fellow rugby player in highschool who was black I'm racist.

It all makes sense now. It is not confusing.

yeah ok i'm just gonna sit down and read an entire book without even knowing what it's about

The problem is that most racists don't realize that there are pieces of shit in ever race. They seem to assume that all people of 'x' race are pieces of shit.
