What makes a band Funky Jazzy Rock Blues with an edgy sound just like a Locomotive! Blues Rock Jazz Blues Funk Blues Rock types of groups don't usually play for the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic when they were kids! ALL of the rock classics from Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck and the list goes on and on it's all clearly there, so what makes it happen?

It's easy to answer that question with this: Mark Christopher Band reflects on first getting started in the music industry. I found out that one of the band members played for the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic when he was a kid, which enriched his mind with the sounds of classic music that when sped up turns into a sort of odd Funky Blues Rock group like MARK CHRISTOPHER BAND is. Mark Christopher has also been influenced by heavy blues, he is a Bluesman. His story led him directly to starting his own band with it's offbeat and cool riffs because of his influence when growing up playing ALL of the rock classics from Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck and the list goes on and on. Bass Player Phil Friedland has played with Mark Christopher since he was 19 years old so the influence is clearly there. But it's the only band I've seen and heard that answers that question! Thanks.
