What major is good for Pre-Law?

I am currently a freshmen enrolled at a mediocre university. I wish to go to law school, but am not exactly sure what to major in since they don't have a pre-law degree. If I get a major in English and a minor in legal studies while maintaining a 4.0 will i be able to get in to law school with good LSATs?
