I just purchased a 1999 blazer lt 4 dr and am looking into lift kits and tires....there seems to be lots of 2" and 6" suspension kits out there but i'm looking more for a happy medium, about 4" with maybe 32" tires...is that reasonable? http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/TRLCT15SSV.htm that's the best thing i've found so far, but i don't know a lot about lift kits so i'm not sure what to look for, and i'm assuming that I can just get 32" tires with a - offset in order to widen my wheel track to make it look less awkward/more natural...let me know, I'd like to become more knowledgeable on the subject
too old of a truck for a lift? wow guys...it's a 99 not an 85. I mean, old is relative but i've never considered a vehicle with 150k too old for anything. thanks kevo you gave me an idea, i might do a 2" suspension lift as well as a 1 or 2" body lift, shouldn't run me too high of a price and should still have the clearance for 32's.
