Which completely spoils the whole atmosphere when watching a film.

It really bugs me when ITV do this. Especially when it's Sunday, so there's no reason why they can't schedule the news after it. Although they often still do it on weekdays, even though they had claimed that the reason for axing News At Ten was so that movies didn't need to be split around it.

I went to see What Lies Beneath in the cinema when it was released, and I have never jumped so much watching a film in my life.

I can cope with 5 minute ad breaks, although they are definitely annoying. But they also give you the chance to quickly nip to the loo or grab some grub from the kitchen

A full news bulletin is too much for me though.
