None! American as with all the countries of the world trying to re-adjust the balance of non-equals has erred beyond reason. The peoples of the USA have an opportunity to halt forever the Greed that corrupts their banking system, will they; NO! Reaching the golden ring is the goal of most Americans, at the expense of their friends, their families and their own lives.
When You earn money, you entrust banks and other financial institutions to protect it, not use it needlessly attempting to enrich their own pockets. Investment made with other peoples money belong to those people, but what of the billions and trillions of dollars banks have made over the years; how much have they shared with the people whose money they used to make such wealth. Greed is a sharp two edged blade, it can open may doorways but when you fall you risk your life.
Profit is the money made after all expenses have been paid, what has happen to all the profits, these banks claimed in the past? Now they want more of your money to bail them out of the mess they created for themselves; the plateau they had refused to allow their clients to reach now become to difficult for them to stand on, without the wealth of the little people they consider American to be.
No; American will not learn form this error in banking. After all, the last time something like this happened, it was called the Great Depression of the 20's.
How many families will banking and investment executives put up in their homes as American lose their homes and jobs to this crisis, as bank charges rise, service and product surcharges increase and so on. Whom do you think will foot the bill then, certainly not the Banks and Investment institutions which dragged you kicking and screaming to the edge of poverty, all the while claiming it was in your best interest. I don't recall any of these banking and investment executives pitching in any of the 6 or 7 figure salaries they've been paying themselves out of American tax payers money. they are not selling of any of the luxurious toys and extravagances to stablize the canyon between the Haves and Have-nots, but they want the Have-nots to bail them out, don't they?
Having read some of the answers other have proposed, It is easy to see why they get away with it. No Government has money without Taxpayers!!!!!

No lessons will be learned, and another crisis will occur in 10 years, not from the same cause. They'll find some other way to stuff things up once again.
