...Alaska? My coworker and I got into a heated discussion which ended in her saying I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY BUT YOU WILL NOT WEAR THAT LOTION AGAIN then I was like DON'T TALK TO ME THAT WAY ####... she's all, Go ahead get mad ###### BUT YOU WILL NOT EVER PUT THAT LOTION ON AGAIN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? I told her YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, YOU DO NOT TALK TO ME THIS WAY... she kept going so I said - Whatever ####, shut up. I wasn't going to yell anymore, I wasn't going to listen to her anymore, I was done so I wanted to just stop the conversation/argument. So, then I turned around in my chair and started to log onto the computer, which she then leaped out of her chair and grabbed my left arm (leaving a bruise) spun me around, holding both my arms, she shoved my chair into my desk and said DON'T YOU EVER TALK TO ME THAT WAY AGAIN and I yelled back LET GO OF ME! YOU DO NOT EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN! #### YOU NEVER TOUCH ME AGAIN, GET OUT OF MY FACE (because her face was literally 4 inches away from my face and her finger 2 to 3 inches from my face) and I said it again, GET OUT OF MY FACE #### and she said NOT UNTIL YOU CALM DOWN - meanwhile, I'm trying to put my shoes on without loosing eye contact and then I stood up and one of the other ladies came around and asked what was going on and She said, OK I shouldn't have grabbed her and spun her around, and I responded with YOU DIDN'T SPIN ME AROUND, YOU SLAMMED MY CHAIR INTO MY DESK and walked out to go see a friend I've known for over 15 yrs... who after listening to me suggested we go to HR. We went to HR; they ended up sending her home w/o pay and sent me home with pay for the day. A friend of mine who knew nothing about the situation heard my boss yelling at my boss' boss saying ####### (the director of HR) fired one of my employees, he can't do that!! And I guess it ended up saving HER job because now she's back. Is that legal? What legal rights do I have?
