I'm very interested in looking into studying these languages, but I'm not completely aware of what kinds of texts I would be reading. I know that Latin originated in the Roman Catholic church, so I know there are religious texts in Latin, but what are the texts exactly? What other kinds of things were written in Latin? What about Ancient Greek?
Additionally, are there any other ancient languages I can take a look at?
