what kinds of jobs would a wildlife biologist do and how do u become one?
i might want to be a wildlife biologist when i am older, but im not sure exactly what they do. Once i become a wildlife biologist what do i do from there. and by the way how do you even become a wildlife biologist do you have to get a certain degree or something?? HELP!!
 
I have a degree in zoology and work as a wildlife biologist..but you can also major in biology, wildlife management, etc. You would need a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree plus lots of hands-on experience. You could seek employment with government agencies, non-profit organizations, zoos, musuems, environmental consultant firms, etc. I specialize in ornithology (birds) so I do breeding and winter bird surveys, raptor surveys, nest searching and monitoring, non-native plant removal, and well as some reptile and bat work.
