Ok, so i went and got this puppy today for $150 and the guy SWEARS he is pure pit bull. After looking at photos online and from a few comments from people today, I honestly think he is a small breed like a Jack Russell or Beagle mix.
So, i text the guy just a few minutes ago and he says he is pissed off that I am doubting him, that there is such thing as smaller pit bulls called "razor edge amd gator" (whatever that all means???), and for me to do my research on the breed before doubting him.
He then went on to say that he is 7 weeks old so of course he's gonna be small, and that if he was a Jack Russell, then he could have gotten more money out of him! (I paid him $150 because he claims that is what he paid and he is only getting rid of him because his landlord wont allow the breed)
Anyways, I was wondering what you guys think? here are his photos.
Oh, when it all comes down to it, it really doesn't matter much because I am keeping him and i already love him no matter what his mix/breed is.. I just find it messed up that this guy lied to me just to get my $150... and is still texting me now swearing up and down that he is a pure bred pit bull.
I have a female blue pit bull and when I got her at 9 weeks, she was MUCH bigger and longer legs... also she had slick type fur and this little guy has a tad longer fur.
what are your thoughts? Now this guy wont leave me alone and is telling me to bring the puppy back to him.. not a chance in hell i'd do that!.. He is just too sweet... and plus where i got him from was the ghetto and the guy was pure scum.

He is saying that he has the "tiger stripes" just like his mother.
I didn't get to see the parents or any other puppies from the litter. "sigh", i guess that is what happens getting pets from craigslist. Oh well, live and learn.
