Ok so me and my girlfriend have be sexual active, we have always used condoms. we've had intercourse about 5 or 6 times over 9 months, shes very irregular, one month she'll have her period and sometimes she wont, when we do have sex, the next month she always skips, one time she skipped 2 months, Idk if intercourse just effects her period or what, but this past time we had sex (we used a condom) in September, and about the 8th of Oct, she got very sick, swollen lymph nodes, swollen gums (to where its hard for here to eat) and because of her swollen gums and not eating she has lost 6 lbs, headaches, shes achy all over, she has the chills, fever, and is just exhausted and wants to sleep constantly,
But today 8-22-10 She still has swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, and her left side of her mouth is still sore. the right side is almost healed.
The first doctor said it was viral, the second doctor said she was almost 99% sure it was Mono, but she got a blood test and it came back negative, and they gave her a flu shot.
PS - this has been going on for 2 weeks.
