What kind of TV do you get for...?

Currently looking for a new TV to hook up to my computer. I'm capable of building a computer, but for some odd reason, all the information that comes with TV's baffles me. I'm looking for at least a 30" TV. I don't know what to get! LCD, Plasma, HD, blah blah. I just need something that is less prone to image burn in, because I'm hooking it up to my computer to play games. Help?!
