Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? The 'nuts' (shown in the 3rd photo) turn yellow when ripe. The tree gets small bunches of purple/pink flowers (not sure which season). I've always known this tree as a 'cedar tree', but now that I've actually googled the name I've realised that a cedar is a sort of pine-like tree. Perhaps there are simply two trees with the same name? If anyone can tell me what kind of tree this is, it would be much appreciated! I live in South Australia.
