It's the 350 engine, 4 wheel drive, automatic, 5.7 liter, v8... god, I love this truck! The transmission is "blown" according to the local mechanic. It runs fine thru first and second, gets to about 27 mph, and goes into limp mode. When asked to check my engine to see if the cost of a new transmission was worth it, they came back with repair to-do-list that included the idle arm and a tail pipe soooo it came home. F that.
First, I need to know what kind of transmission I'm looking for because I LOVE this truck!
Second, what else could it possibly be?
