What kind of red tint should i put in my hair?

Hey everybody, so i would like to dye my hair a deep brown that has a mahogany tint in it and i might but some chestnut/auburn highlights in it also but i heard that hair with red tints can bring pink and red tones out in your face..Which i don't want...My natural skin tone is pale but i have blemishes and pimples so my face looks red a bit but when i put my foundation on i have a really tanned faced thats kind of a yellowish color....What should i do? Thankyou

P.S. I have deep green/brown eyes and dark brown almost black eyebrows...
