I love to cook but I am such a newb following a recipe stresses me out a little bit when I know that it will have to be perfect. I like baking desserts and such. What is a good recipe that will impress them but is meant to be eaten cold because I will be bringing it to them. Something that is fairly complex but isn't very expensive to make and can be made in a house using the tools that a Vietnamese family would typically have. (I will be buying a pastry Thanks guys. 
eek! I made a major typo. I meant to say I will be buying a pastry bag but I left out the bag part. I am going to be making a practice batch of cream puff since it is a simple and quick recipe tonight and my bf gets to be my official taste tester. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't have any of my own cookware.
