I've tried hidden valley and kraft and neither one is garlicky enough. At least give me a suggestion.

Every restaurant is different.

It all depends on who they purchase their product from.

Just like you, when you go to the store and make a choice. Well, the restaurant makes a similar choice.

So, not all restaurants have the same brand.

Peace.

It is usually some generic kind that the food supply company has as part of their stock. Since different food supply companies delivery to different areas, then the dressing won't be the same for all restaurants, even if they are part of a chain, unless the chain manufactures the food they send out to all of their restaurants.

For example, Denny's restaurants exist all over the USA, but they don't manufacture the food they serve up, they just cook and prepare some of it. So basic items like salad dressing are delivered to them by a local food service company which makes those items or gets them shipped to them from elsewhere. Since these food companies aren't the same all throughout the nation, then the items will vary somewhat depending on who actually made them.

If you like the dressing the restaurant is serving, then you can ask them if they will sell you a big jar of it as Lynn suggests (sometimes it comes in a plastic bag in a box, though). Rarely a restaurant actually makes their own dressings at the restaurant, so you might luck out and get to buy a smaller quantity from them. Or they might hook you up with their supplier so you can buy it direct from them.

Something you should keep in mind is that the dressing might change over time should the restaurant change their food supplier or if the food supplier changes who they get some of their stock from. So it would be best to discover what company actually makes the dressing you like if possible. That way you could get it directly from them or find out who else they supply with it and get it from that place. So speak to the restaurant about this.

Sorry I keep adding stuff, but I started thinking that maybe you'd want more info to get that dressing if you actually liked it that much.
